Space Planning & Interior Design Services
Save money and time with a professional assessment from an accredited interior designer who brings an artistic eye and functional aesthetic to your project.
Space Planning - $1000 flat rate
For projects without an addition, Custom Home Improvement offers space planning services. For projects involving an addition, an architect will be required.
Space planning process:
• Initial 1.5-hour consultation to discuss the scope of the project, design ideas, and measure the spaces to be remodeled.
• Space plans (floor plans of remodeled areas) are drafted within about a week and emailed to the homeowner.
• If the homeowner has revisions or would like more details, changes are made within a few days and sent via email. The draft process could repeat a few times until a final is reached.
• Once a space plan is finalized, a proposal for the scope of work can be created.
• Space plans (bird’s eye view) and elevations (vertical view of a wall) are created in AutoCAD and emailed as a PDF. CHI can also provide full-scale paper plans if needed.
Interior Design - $1500 = 10 hours
Custom Home Improvement offers interior design services for finish selections. Whether you are selecting plumbing fixtures or need a color consultation, our in-house interior designer can help you create comfortable, beautiful, and functional spaces.
Interior Design process:
• Initial consultation – discuss vision and design style. Plan selection visits to showrooms.
• Selection visits – showrooms will have product displays to assist with finish selections. We usually start with a color consult or one of the larger materials (countertops) as a jumping-off point. Samples will be collected to aid decision making.
• Selections will be recorded into a Finish Schedule to be used throughout the project.
• Ideally, the finish selections are made prior to demolition.

Primary Suites

If there's one thing we've learned from sheltering-in-place during the coronavirus pandemic... it's that we are asking an awful lot of our homes lately!
